Happy 14th Birthday Brother! September 12, 2008
Hweel! My brother just turned 14 yesterday (September 11). I didn't have the time to blog about his birthday since we went out yesterday-- or rather last night. We got home around 10pm and I was pretty tired.. so I just drifted off to dreamland without blogging about his birthday.
So, yeah. We went to my grandfather's office and fetched him (my lolo), Ate Ada, and my uncle. After that, only one question hanged in my mind. "Where are we going?...". All of us didn't really have any idea about our real destination.. we only found out about it when we arrived at this certain mall -- mall that I once toured, Trinoma Mall. We were so happy because it was our first time to tour that mall altogether. Hweel! We ate in Peking Garden, a Chinese restaurant (i think). When I looked at the menu, I felt my eyes cross each other. Haha! I got dizzy just looking at the foods' prices. It almost made me not to order anymore, but my lolo told us not to worry 'cos he'll take care of the bills.
Before the waiters served the food, mom took a picture of me and my lil' sister over the table.
So, there. We ordered lots of food. There's this really tasty chicken. It doesn't really look like a chicken but once you taste it, you'll know it is. It looked more like a fish fillet than a chicken to me XD
After the meals, we thought eating was over. But the waiters and waitresses brought us a dessert, slices of mangoes, watermelon, and papaya. At first, I thought the papaya was a melon, haha! So I grabbed 3 of it since melon is my favorite fruit. After chewing some, I noticed that the taste of melon was different.. that was when I found out that it's a papaya, and not a melon! Hehe!
After the entire eating session in Peking Garden, my lolo, uncle, and ate Ada separated from us (my family) to tour the whole mall. Haha, whole huh. My family and I too went around to see the entire mall. Our first stop was the shop of EPSON. My dad brought a new mouse for his laptop which costed 350php. After that, we went to a shop called Marcella MYX. And hweel! So many accessories for girls. Lots of cutie hairbands! I love it! I simply love it. But I only bought two because they're a little expensive. Almost 75php each, haha. One with a ribbon and one that is colored black- a really simple one. Hairbands are one of the simplest things that makes me happy
From Marcella MYX, next is Comic Alley- an anime stuff shop! I'm sure you know about it. Since it's my 'lil bro's birthday, he bought a poster of Haruhi Suzumiya. When my dad asked me if I wanted a poster too, I said yes and picked a Cardcaptor Sakura poster. Here's what the posters look like: (except for the "Tear" signature I putted in the corner.)
We hanged around for a bit 'til the boutiques in the mall closed. We waited near the parking lot for my lolo, uncle, and ate Ada. Mom offered to take a picture of my sis and me. Here it is: (kinda blurry though).
Not too long after the picture taking, we saw them coming. I thought, "At last, it's time to go home!"
I was pretty tired last night that I didn't have the time to blog anymore. Haha, So there's the story
